{Guess where we’ll be tonight…}

As a part of the boy’s birthday present this month, I bought him a pair of VIP tickets to see the uber talented chef Eric Ripert at the Jack Singer Concert Hall tonight!

His lecture will share his behind- the-scene account On the Line: The Costs, the Chaos and the Triumphs. From management, to service and employee benefits, Ripert will share his wisdom on how to run a successful restaurant. The evening starts off a sampling of wines from around the world and ends with an exclusive book signing at the post-show reception.

Me and the boy went to the famed Le Bernardin two years ago, one of only five restaurants in New York awarded three Michelin stars and ranked 11th best restaurant in the world by Restaurant magazine in 2009. BEST seafood meal of my life and definitely one of the most memorable.
